Kingston today announced the launch of a new generation of DDR5 memory modules for new Apple, Dell, HP and Lenovo devices that already use this new technology. The 16GB KCP556SS8-16 memory module is built with the 2G x 64-bit (16GB) DDR5-5600 CL46 SDRAM (synchronous DRAM), 1Rx8 architecture, based on eight 2G x 8-bit FBGA components. The SPD is programmed to the JEDEC DDR5-5600 standard latency, 40-40-40 timing at 1.1V. Each 262-pin SODIMM is manufactured with gold contacts.
